- Pak Prime Minister Mr. Z.A. Bhutto visited Bangladesh from 27-29 June 1974.
- Bangladesh President Ziaur Rahman visited Pakistan in December 1977.
- Pak President Mohammad Zia-ul-Haque visited Dhaka to attend the First SAARC Summit in June 1985.
- Bangladesh President Hussain Mohammed Ershad visited Pakistan in 1986 and 1988.
- Pak Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto paid a visit to Bangladesh from 1-3 October 1989.
- Pak Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif paid a brief visit to Bangladesh on 30April 1991 following cyclone in Bangladesh.
- Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia paid an official visit to Pakistan on 9-11 August 1992.
- Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Bangladesh in January 1993 and in April 1993 to attend the Seventh SAARC Summit. He again visited Bangladesh in January 1997 to attend the Tri-nation Business Summit and in March 1999 to attend the D-8 Summit.
- Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid a visit to Islamabad to attend the Extraordinary Session of the OIC in Islamabad on 22-24 March1997.
- Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid a visit to Islamabad (and New Delhi) on 24 June 1998 following nuclear tests conducted by India and Pakistan.
- Pak President Syed Pervez Musharraf visited Bangladesh from 29- 31 July 2002.
- Pak Prime Minster Shaukat Aziz visited Bangladesh from 01– 03 November 2004 in his capacity as the Chairperson of SAARC. He again visited Dhaka to attend the 13th SAARC Summit in November 2005.
- Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia visited Pakistan from 03– 06 January 2004 to attend the 12th SAARC Summit in Islamabad. She paid an official visit to Islamabad again on 12-14 February 2006.
