Power of attorney

The process of having a power of attorney or any signature attested by the High Commission is same as that for attesting other documents except for the additional requirements mentioned on the right column of this page:

Additional requirements:

  • The signatory must come in person with valid passport or national ID along with its photocopy
  • It may be mentioned that, for the attested document to be valid in Bangladesh, it needes to be counter-attested by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh. This document, therefore, needs to be submitted to the Consular Section of the Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, which will do the counter-attestation after confirming the authenticity of the attesttation by this High Commission through appropriate means.
